Atlas named UK Effer distributor

UK lorry loader specialist, Atlas Cranes has been appointed as sales and service agent for Italian crane manufacturer Effer.

Atlas now offers the complete range of Effer knuckle boom cranes, rated from 2 to 300 tonne-metres, including the Effer 1855, which offers a vertical reach of 49 metres and a capacity of up to 40 tonnes at 2.7 m. It can be mounted on a truck to come in under the 32 tonne gross vehicle weight limit.

The Effer cranes will be sold by Atlas in the familiar Atlas orange livery but will remain branded Effer. As part of the sales and service agreement, Atlas’ 30 field service engineers will now be available to Effer customers.

Clive Treslove, currently sales manager of Effer UK, will remain with Effer UK and will help the new venture in the new role of product specialist for the Effer range of products.
