Spain's Ausa has developed a compact telehandler, the T 204 H, with a maximum load capacity of 4,400 pounds and maximum lifting height of 13 feet, 7 inches.

The machine will be launched in Las Vegas in March at the ConexpoCon/Agg show and will get its European debut at the Smopyc show in Zaragoza, Spain, in April.

The new model, which weighs more than 8,800 pounds, is the first telehandler from Ausa, which is best known for its site dumpers, vertical mast forklifts, concrete mixers and small utility vehicles.

The T 204 H is 5 feet, 2 inches wide, 15 feet, 2 inches long (to the front forks) and 61/2 feet high. It is powered by a Kubota V2403 diesel engine, uses a 4x4 drive and has a hydrostatic transmission.

Maximum forward reach on the model is 8 feet, 5 inches, at which point maximum carrying capacity is 2,200 pounds.
