Awards shortlists – Civils Demolition

Today we are announcing the shortlists for the World Demolition Awards.

These are the companies comprising the Civils shortlist.

Congratulations to:

Shortlisted Civils

 

  • Delta Group (Australia) – for Sydney Metro Martin Place North Station where it designed a complex demolition works programme to overcome several engineering challenges
  • Despe (Italy) – for the Mungivacca project in Bari, where it demolished a 25 m (82 ft) building using full-height perimeter scaffolding and a tower crane
  • Erith Contractors (United Kingdom) – for the Cleveland Street substructure project, a basement demolition including asbestos removal and soft strip
  • Flesan Demolition (Chile) – for demolishing concrete trestles in Puerto Barquitos without noise or dust pollution.

The World Demolition Awards take place on Thursday 12 November and are organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the USA.
