USA-based third party logistics company BNSFL managed the complex movement of a cement mill for one of its clients from Europe to Africa.

Together with its Turkish partner Smart Logistics in Istanbul, BNSFL handled the shipment of the 1,500 cubic metre (cbm) cement mill equipment from Izmir, Turkey to Mombasa, Kenya.

The cargo was trucked from Izmir to Mersin Port in Turkey, loaded onto flat racks and shipped with Messina Line to Mombasa.

BNSFL is the USA member for the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) and Smart Logistics represents the network in Turkey.
