Bobcat says the new S850 skid steer and T870 tracked loader are the most powerful with the highest lift height it has ever produced

Compact equipment specialist Bobcat has introduced two new models, the 4,549 kg (10,008 lb) S850 skid steer loader and the 5,751 kg (12,652 lb) T870 tracked loader, which it says are the most powerful with the highest lift height it has ever produced.

The S850 has a rated capacity of 1,760 kg (3,872 lb) with a lift height of 2.1 m (6.9 ft). It offers 25% more digging power, 8% greater engine power and 11% more lift height than the next biggest model in the company's range, the S330, along with improved cooling performance and longer run time.

With a rated capacity of 1,508 kg (3,318 lb), the T870 has a fractionally higher lift height than the S850 and has 12% greater dig power, 8% greater engine power and 12% greater lift height then next largest tracked loader, the T320.

Both new machines are intended to mount the most powerful attachments that are available from Bobcat, such as wheelsaws, along with other high productivity equipment. They also offer significantly improved visibility, class leading comfort, greater pushing power and hydraulic power, increased fuel capacity and more uptime protection, says the company.
