Case Construction Equipment in the US has completed the acquisition of Western Power & Equipment of Vancouver, Washington, one of its largest North American dealers with eight locations in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Case said the new business, called Case Power and Equipment, would undergo some significant changes, including a wider range of rental equipment than previously offered by Western Power. "To better meet the rental needs of local customers", said Case, "the company is adding a full range of construction equipment to its rental fleet."

James Hasler, vice president, Case Construction Equipment, said; "We made this acquisition to ensure that existing and prospective Case customers continue to receive the top-calibre construction equipment and support they need.

"Case Power and Equipment serves an important geographic region, and we are committed to expand the customer relationships developed by Western Power & Equipment."

The eight locations are in Redding, Sacramento and Stockton, California; Sparks, Nevada; Portland and Salem, Oregon; and Auburn and Marysville, Washington. Case has more than 375 dealer locations across North America.
