CNH Industrial is teaming up with Leica Geosystems, which will provide CNH brands Case and New Holland Construction with machine control solutions – initially for excavators, dozers and graders.

Under the agreement with CNH, Leica Geosystems – a provider of design, measurement and visualisation technologies which specialises in machine control solutions for construction equipment – will initially provide Case and New Holland with machine control solutions for those machines in both factory fit and aftermarket applications.

This is expected to expand eventually to CNH’s entire construction product line-up. The engineering departments of both companies will jointly evaluate the development of products, which Leica Geosystems said was designed to maximise integration and performance of the CNH construction equipment portfolio.

Mario Gasparri, brand president of CNH Industrial Construction Equipment, said, “CNH Industrial is committed to providing its worldwide customers with leading products in the Construction Equipment sector which meet the highest standards in performance and productivity."

He added, "Our partnership with Leica Geosystems – one of the most respected companies in the machine control solutions industry – shows our intention to continue investing in the construction equipment business by introducing forefront technologies and leveraging the most advanced specialist players in the market.”

Johan Arnberg, president of Leica Geosystems’ machine control division, said, "Our products will create a powerful innovative solution to meet evolving customer demands."
