Manitowoc Crane Care appoints Crane Load Tech as its second EnCORE partner from the EMEA region

Manitowoc Crane Care has appointed Crane Load Tech (CLT) from South Africa as its second EnCore partner from the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

CLT, based in Johannesburg, will offer repair and refurbishment for Grove mobile cranes and Manitowoc crawler cranes. The workshop can handle eight cranes at a time and includes a boom repair bay, a company spokesperson said.

Henry Wells, CLT managing director, said, “We offer our customers a longer lifecycle for their cranes through fully certified repair and refurbishment. In Africa cranes operate in harsh environments with tough working conditions and demanding loads. Doing more to keep cranes working effectively for longer is an ideal solution for our customers.”

Gilberto Ferreira, Manitowoc global EnCore general manager, said, “Customers expect support, particularly from a local company that has the official backing of Manitowoc Crane Care. We are delighted to add CLT to the programme, which not only brings Manitowoc closer to its dealers, but can attract more work to their business.”
