The new DMB800 breaker is the largest in Daemo's breaker range

Daemo has added a new breaker at the top end of its DMB series breakers in the shape of the 5,900 kg (12,980 lb) DMB800 designed for use on carriers weighing from 65 to 120 tonnes. The DMB800 has a maximum blow rate of 460 bpm, has a maximum working pressure of 186 Bar and offers an impact energy of 11,520 J.

Key features of the DMB800 include a damper system that adsorbs vibration to protect the carrier while the breaker is working and sealed opening s to minimise noise during operation. An improved automatic lubrication has been introduced between the front cover and the thrust ring, with more durable steel used on the bottom of the bracket to minimise wear. The accumulator adsorbs hydraulic shock and flow fluctuations, as well as stores hydraulic energy under pressure to increase efficiency by replenishing short oil flow.
