The company has appointed Arma Distribution – which will be known as Demarec France – as its importer for France and the French overseas territories. It says it will no longer officially co-operate with individual dealers.

Demarec managing director Marcel Vening said: “The reason we have chosen a central importer for France and the territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Reunion and Mayotte is we can build a much stronger reputation with one organisation operating under the name Demarec France.

“It is good for Demarec and our partners.”

Another big advantage for Demarec France is that it will keep a stock of the most common parts and will have its own stock of a number of new products.”

Day-to-day management will be the responsibility of Chantal Billy, while Fabrice Dufourneau will head up the technical department.
