A facility management company in Germany has rented platforms from truck mount specialist Kuhnle, based in Fellbach near Stuttgart, to protect a 15-store DIY chain from damage caused by pigeons.

The deal was organised through PartnerLift, the national cooperation of more than 100 rental companies. “With the help of our large PartnerLift network we were able to react immediately and create a suitable offer,” said managing director Harald Kuhnle.

Getting all the required machines from one source was the goal and Kuhnle organised all the assignments with partners in the north, east, west and southern Germany. The company ensured the platforms were handed over at the required location at the desired time and also picked up again.

Service was provided by regional partner Lifter, which also ensured truck mounts were picked up and distributed to the correct location at the required time.

Billing for the work was also organised from a single source, demonstrating again the strength of the PartnerLift organisation, said the company.

PartnerLift has more than 150 rental locations and around 15000 machines between its 100 member companies.
