The DX20Z-7 model, which was previewed at Bauma 2022 and was not expected to be launched until early next year, is fitted with a Stage V compliant Yanmar 3TNV70 diesel engine that delivers 10.3kW of power at 2,200 RPM.

The zero-tail swing model has an operating weight of 1.9 tonnes and a maximum digging depth of 2.1 metres, with a ground level reach of 3.7m.

Speaking of the new model, Doosan said, “The DX20Z-7 is built around the operator and provides optimal ergonomics.

“There is ample space for the feet with a flat floor for easy cleaning, ergonomic pedals and easy access to all controls.”

Key features of the mini excavator, which Doosan describes as one of its “best solution for confined and narrow job sites”, include a detachable canopy and an extendable undercarriage.

Controlled from the cab via the control panel, its maximum width of 1.36m provides added stability - particularly for tasks that involve working over a side, while its fully retracted width of just 0.9m enables the machine to access narrow spaces and to be easily transported from site to site.

According to the manufacturer, the Doosan DX20Z-7 is available with a longer boom as an option, and a range of attachments.
