Effer marine crane launched in Hamburg

Italian crane manufacturer Effer launched a marine crane, the model 275M, at the SMM show in Hamburg, Germany.

The 275M is part of the Effer foldable knuckle boom crane range. It has a Scanreco remote control system, continuing slewing and an operator cabin. The crane has been designed to work in tough marine weather and work conditions, the manufacturer said.

Marine crane sales are on the rise, Effer said, with sales of its models up by 30 % in the last two years, a spokesperson added.
