ERA provides social media, web analysis

During the last ERA Convention in Vienna, the European Rental Association (ERA) provided each member with a deep social media and web analysis.

Social media and web analysis

Through this report, the ERA aims at evaluating the online presence and style of communication of its members.

Several tools were used to gather a sufficient collective picture of the current online status of the industry, and to analyse the processes of individual rental companies. The websites and social media pages of all the ERA members were assessed and the findings of this research are presented in the report, including both a comparative overview of the industry and an objective inquiry into how the industry is perceived by potential clients.

Inherently, all members of the ERA are businesses with a connection to the equipment rental industry. However, they differ in terms of their size, marketing strategies, products and services offered, and geographical distribution.

The data analysis has therefore accounted for these variations and only compared members with those of the same type, distinguishing between rental companies, service providers, equipment manufacturers and rental associations.

This analysis was carried out by an external consultant, Daniel Walzer, as part of the works of ERA’s Future Group.
