First Terex TRT 55US deployed to Georgia

Dozier Crane & Machinery, an official Terex rough terrain crane dealer, has deployed the world’s first TRT 55US rough terrain crane in the United States.

Rented to R.R. Cassidy for Georgia Power, the TRT 55US is currently at work on a major energy infrastructure project, supporting expansion activities including relay and substation works.

A Terex dealer for more than 20 years, Dozier is representing the Terex brand that is now a part of the Raimondi Group. Dozier operates a substantial crane fleet, including the TRT 100US and TRT 40US. Its newest model, the TRT 55US, has been delivered and promptly deployed onsite in Savannah, Georgia, on a major infrastructure jobsite.

Rented to R.R. Cassidy for Georgia Power, the TRT 55US is currently at work on a major energy infrastructure project, supporting expansion activities including relay and substation works. Operating with standard configuration, the 55-ton (50t) machine features a boom length of 122.7 feet (37.4m), supported by three telescoping modes to enhance operational flexibility.

“The decision to deploy the TRT 55US was driven by its 55-ton maximum lifting capacity, its compact design and excellent load chart performance, making it particularly well suited for the project’s operational needs,” Greenspan said.

Making its debut at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 in Las Vegas, the TRT 55US combines optimized off-road mobility with enhanced load chart performance across the full working radius, while maintaining a compact footprint with an overall width of 9.11 feet (2.47m), according to Greenspan. Performance is further supported by advance control and monitoring systems, including TEOS and T-Link, enabling real-time monitoring, remote access, and improved fleet management capabilities.

Dozier’s operations and technical teams undertook dedicated product training at the Raimondi North America service hub to further enhance operational efficiency, with sessions covering the core machine functionalities, advanced control systems, and maintenance best practices.
