Four for the floor

Case's has launched four New B-Series Adts – The 327B To 340B (235 TO 340 KW). Weighing from 22,57 to 29 tonnes, and with maximum capacities of 23,2 to 36 tonnes the Stage IIIA compliant B-Series share many common features.

The 327 and 330 use a Case IV 10 litre engine, while the 335 and 340 use a Case IV 13 litre engine. All the engines are electronically controlled and feature unit injection and a variable geometry turbocharger. Also common to all four machines is a tilting cab, engine hood design, hydraulic and braking systems, and a Can-Bus system that monitors engine, transmission and machine controllers for quick diagnostics.

Maintenance requirements are a key design feature. The cab tilts 51°, while a flip up hood, swing out fenders, diagnostic pressure ports, fluid sight gauges at ground level and an optional auto lube system are all designed to make maintenance easier.

For increased productivity the wide truck frame lowers the centre of gravity of the load for a stable ride and improved operator control, while machine durability is increased thanks to inside mounted lift cylinders. From the large cab, with fully adjustable, ergonomically designed seat, the operator can select 2, 4 or 6 wheel drive depending on working conditions, while there are also four transmission modes – Economy or Power for economical operation, and Automatic or Manual for ease of operation.
