The family-run company, which is based near Glasgow, provides tools and equipment to national construction firms, local councils, tradesmen and the general public across Scotland.

The company’s new MG6000SSY sets are fully bunded 6.0kVA dual voltage diesel generators, that provide users with quiet operation and clean power.

They are fitted with Yanmar electric start diesel engines and are equipped with a central lifting eye and front and side fork pockets.

Fraser Tool Hire’s Gavin Maxwell said, “We use MHM’s rehire operation particularly for their lighting towers. We had twelve sets on hire this winter. MHM give a great service and backup, this allows us to confidently supply customers with the latest machines without having the outlay of buying new units. In addition, when the lighting season is finished we can send them back, and save valuable yard space during the summer months.”

Fraser Tool Hire added the new machines in response to the high demand for portable power. The delivery of the generator sets means the rental company now has a fleet of over 90 MHM power generation units, offering both single and three-phase voltages from 6.0 to 33.0kVA.
