Glasgow, UK-based rental company GAP Group has entered into a two-year sponsorship deal with the Aviva Premiership Rugby Club, London Irish.

London Irish play at the 24,000-capacity Madejski stadium in Reading. As part of the sponsorship agreement, GAP Group will see its branding on London Irish home and away kits, as well as branding and hospitality rights at London Irish home games.

This will include touchline boards, advertisements on the stadium’s big screen as well as promotion around the grounds.

The London Irish deal underlines GAP Group’s commitment to the southeast.

The company has announced it plans a major expansion of its activities in central London, with up to 12 depots expected to open within the next five years.

GAP’s commercial director Mark Anderson said, “Our sponsorship deal with London Irish marks an important development for GAP. We are working hard to raise our brand awareness across the whole of the UK, particularly in London, and this is an ideal platform to help us achieve that goal.

"We wish London Irish lots of success in the season ahead and are delighted to be a major sponsor of the club.”
