A Geda 300 Z/ZP transport platform has been used to carry out refurbishment works in the narrow streets of Strasbourg in France.

Strasbourg, which means ‘fortification of streets’ in French, is a city filled with small and often winding streets.

The Geda 300 Z/ZP was used to carry out works on the Rue du Nideck in Strasbourg city centre. Challenges posed by the site included a lack of high voltage power supply points and the fact that the police headquarters was located directly opposite, which meant that the one-way street had to remain passable for traffic throughout the renovation work.

The smallest of the Geda transport platforms at 85cm wide when folded the 300 Z/ZP could be easily transported to the construction site, even through narrow access routes.

In Rue du Nideck the Geda 300 Z/ZP was used as a construction hoist with a lifting speed of 12 m/min. Also used to transport personnel, Geda provided a landing level safety gate at the top flood of the building for unloading.
