Genie expands customer service team

Terex AWP has appointed Mitch Ely to the role of Genie director of customer satisfaction and reconditioning. Based in Redmond, WA, Ely’s new position will consist of leading the Genie customer satisfaction, reconditioning, used sales and service training teams for Terex AWP. Ely will report to Bob Bartley, Genie senior director of product support and service solutions, Terex AWP.

“Mitch comes to the customer satisfaction team with 25 years of experience in the industry,” Bartley said. “In this new role, Mitch will handle customer issues related to product support, parts, warranty, engines and reconditioning. His in-depth knowledge and extensive experience will be well received and utilized.”

Ely joined Terex AWP in 1998 and played a key role in the expansion of the Genie brand into the Asia Pacific region, specifically the Australian market where he held recently held the position of Genie national operations manager for Terex AWP in Australia. Prior to joining Terex AWP, he spent eight years with Skyreach, one of the largest access rental companies in Australia.

In addition to Bartley and Ely, the Genie product support team includes Dan Anderson, Ron Wixon, Steve Chandler and Stohn Stevenson.
