Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) has opened its new Genie Oklahoma City Training Center.

The 18,000 sq ft (5,500 m2) facility offers an amphitheater-style training room with space for 12 students. In addition, a variety of large Genie units are on site and available for classroom and hands-on technical experience.

According to Terex, courses will give technicians an in-depth knowledge of Genie control systems through activities including schematic reading and connection software use. Training courses will enable technicians to calibrate, adjust and troubleshoot Genie scissors, telehandlers and boom lifts.

Genie will also continue to offer training at its Redmond, Washington campus.
