Global expansion for heavy lift firm ALE

International heavylift and transportation company ALE is growing its presence in Australia and Canada with the formation of two joint ventures with local transport firms.

In Australia, ALE has teamed up with heavylift, haulage and crane company ECR to launch ALE ECR Heavylift Pty Ltd. Based in Gladstone, ECR was established in 1995 and now also operates centres in Biloela and Moura, Central Queensland. ECR own a fleet of cranes from 7 to 500 tonnes capacity. The company also offers a fleet of hydraulic modular trailers and specialized jacking and lifting equipment working primarily in the heavy industrial and mining industries.

Joining forces with ALE expands the fleet now available to Australian contractors, with ALE ECR capable of accommodating lifts of up to 60,000 tonnes.

In Canada, ALE formed a joint venture with Roll-Lift to provide heavylift and transportation services. See ALE and Roll-Lift joint venture in Canada story.
