Spanish rental company Grúas Romaní has taken delivery of a Ruthmann Steiger T 540.

The T 540, which is mounted on an offroad 6x4 MAN chassis, will mainly be used in wind turbine maintenance and repair as well as within industrial plants.

“That was a custom-made co-operation which was fun,” said Grúas Romaní, CEO and owner of Grúas Romaní. “The quality of advice, commitment, helpfulness and professionalism of Bert Wiegel, CEO of AMCO, are top. And with RUTHMANN's HEIGHT performance-STEIGER T 540, I got exactly the truck-mounted working platform which meets all my demands on flexibility, effectiveness and performance. In addition, the T 540 is safe, easy and intuitive to handle”.

The T 540 features 54 m of working height and 40 m of outreach. It also has a working basket capacity of up to 600 kg and a 3.7 square meter work basket.

“My whole range of special equipment requirements was easily implemented, such as the 230 V and 24 V or the air connection and water supply in the working basket or the additional cable remote control with tether,” said Romaní.
