GTK1100 dual lift in Germany

Two Grove GTK1100 craness, owned by Wiesbauer and Breuer & Wasel, lift chimney sections at a steel plant in Germany. The model was designed for wind turbine erection but has found new applications, inlcuding this one and others at refineries.

The GTK1100 uses a multi-axle wheeled carrier with a vertical telescopic mast, topped with a luffing telescopic boom, from a GMK7450 all terrain mobile crane. It stands on a four outrigger cross base. Maximum reach is 120 m.
