The ever-greater quantities of goods handled globally, mixed with modern logistics, means safety and equipment availability is more important than ever, says Germany-based sensor specialist Tecsis.

The PS01 monitors loads on harbour and boom cranes, detects when the cable is slack, and prevents overloading by sending commands to the crane control system.

“It simultaneously determines and compares the crane's parameters, preventing operating states that could compromise crane safety,” says Tecsis.
