Haulotte expands BIM library

Haulotte has expanded its (building information modelling) BIM library, with the addition of four machines.

The four models are the HT16 RTJ PRO telescopic boom (HT46 RTJ PRO, in the US), the SIGMA16 PRO articulating boom (SIGMA46 PRO), the HS15 E PRO scissor lift (HS4390 E PRO) and the HS18 E PRO scissor lift (HS5390 E PRO)

BIM objects are 3D digital models that contribute to the efficient management of construction projects. Widely used by architects, engineers, construction companies and property owners and operators, they integrate technical and parametric data and act as a true digital twin, i.e., exactly as a piece of equipment would on the construction site.

Laurent Muguet, product manager at Haulotte, said, “Haulotte is strongly committed to innovation and the digitalisation of its services. Since the beginning of the year, our objects have been downloaded over 7,000 times.

“We have 45 BIM objects in our library, which will be enriched as new products are launched, allowing our customers to incorporate our latest machines in their digital mock-up.”

The BIM models are free to download on Haulotte websites and on the BIMobject platform.
