Haulotte has extended its presence in the Caribbean islands with two new distributors; Bamitel, in Martinique, and Carmo Pro, in Guadeloupe. Both belong to GBH Group (Bernard Hayot Group).

As part of their contracts both companies have ordered Haulotte aerial lifts to grow their fleet, including the latest scissors lifts from the manufacturer’s Compact range.

The two companie Bamitel, based in Le Lamentin, Martinique, and Carmo Pro, based in Baie Mahault, Guadeloupe, have already worked with Haulotte for five and two years, respectively.

These new distribution contracts, said Haulotte, will enable both companies to expand their product ranges and a range of commercial and technical training courses will be organised provide employees with the required knowledge of Haulotte’s machines and innovations.

Didier Mertens, general manager at Haulotte Africa, says, “We are pleased to consolidate our presence in the Caribbean with these two new partners. “Bamitel and Carmo Pro are both trusted partners, recognised for their professionalism, their expertise and their sense of service. They immediately required specific technical training on the platforms in order to respond to any customer request.”
