Haulotte said a 73% jump in sales to Latin America helped its third quarter revenues increase by 30% to €63.2 million. Sales for the year to date were up 20% at €177.6 million, with new equipment sales up 25% to €131.3.

The company did not provide any details on profits.

Sales for the third quarter were up in all markets, but particularly in Latin America, where they grew by 73%, and Asia Pacific, up 26%. Haulotte said its third quarter revenues from after sales service and rental (it owns rental companies in the UK and Argentina) were up 13% compared to the second quarter of the year.

The company said activity levels in the final quarter of the year were not expected to move significantly from current levels; "the moderate level of backlog is still limiting visibility for the coming quarters", said the company in its financial press release.

The company's rental revenues have grown by 17% to €26.7 million in the first nine months of the year - representing 15% of total sales - while service revenues for the period fell by 7% to €19.5 million.
