Highlift Equipment acquires Valco Equipment assets

Highlift Equipment Ltd, a full service equipment distributor operating in Cincinnati since 1968 has acquired the assets of Valco Equipment Inc. of Canton, Ohio. Valco Equipment Inc. has been a distributor of telehandlers, scissor lifts and boom lifts for more than 24 years. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The newly acquired business will sell, rent and provide parts, service and financing for construction equipment under the Valco Equipment Ltd trade name in Ohio and surrounding states. Distribution agreements are in place for products manufactured by Genie, JLG, Skyjack, Takeuchi, Snorkel and Tiffin, among others.

Dave Maier, former Valco Equipment sales manager, has been appointed Valco general manager and experienced, factory trained parts and service personnel have been retained. Valco Equipment Ltd has also relocated to a newer facility in North Canton, Ohio, just off of I-77 at Portage Rd.
