Hoffmann's new facility in Waghäusel offers companies the chance to conduct field trials of the Airo

Hoffmann's new facility in Waghäusel offers companies the chance to conduct field trials of the Airo product range.

German rental firm and distributor Hoffmann opened a new commercial plant in Waghäusel at the end of February.

The company used the opening event as an opportunity to showcase its range of Airo platforms and made 10 immediate sales for the Italian manufacturer at its opening celebrations. In total, Hoffmann received purchase orders for 65 Airo platforms, including scissor lifts and articulated booms.

All 10 orders have been personalized and have already left the factory in Luzzara, Italy, ready for delivery to Germany.

Hoffmann has been distributing Airo products since 2008. Its new facility in Waghäusel has been designed to enable companies to come and conduct field trials of the Airo product range.

According to Rimedia Perotto, sales manager for Hoffmann, the company hopes to sell in excess of 150 Airo machines in 2012 thanks to its new facility. Hoffmann also expects to see increased demand for rental requests for Airo products in 2012.
