Taiwanese crane contractor Hong Tai International Crane Engineering, based in Kaohsiung City, has added two Liebherr mobile cranes to its fleet.

Chao-Cheng Lu, Hong Tai company chairman, and Chao-Shuen Lu, general manager, took delivery of the 750 tonne capacity LTM 1750-9.1 and the 100 tonne capacity LTM 1100-5.2 at the Liebherr manufacturing plant in Ehingen, Germany.

Hong Tai plans to use the cranes on jobs in local refineries and steel mills. They will also be used for the erection of tower cranes, a company spokesperson said.

The new units join a fleet of 15 Liebherr cranes.
