Us: Constructing the foundation raft for the new 42 storey Washington Mutual Bank in Seattle, US called for 7800 m3 of concrete to be placed during a 17 hour continuous pour.

Brundage Bone Concrete Pumping used six Schwing truck mounted concrete pumps, supplied by a fleet of 80 concrete trucks, to place the concrete for the 2.5 m thick raft.

Roads surrounding the site, which is part of the Seattle Art Museum extension, had to be closed to position the S 58 SX, S 47 SX and four S47 SX boom pumps around the 70 by 73 m site. Now the foundation raft is complete, Brundage is using a Schwing BP 8800 stationary pump and a KVM 39 X boom to place concrete for the elevator core, columns and deck of the steel framed structure.
