Ipaf And Ssvv Work Together

20 March 2008

Hans Aarse of IPAF–Benelux will represent IPAF on the SSVV Warrant Committee, with the aim of sharing expertise in the access industry and promoting international standards for training. The Dutch SSVV (Cooperation for Safety Foundation) is an independent body that manages the VCA system of training accreditation and examination, mainly for the petrochemical industry, but also extending to the construction, mechanical engineering, installation and transport industries. One of the proposals under study is for IPAF to become an official SSVV accredited examination agency on behalf of its Dutch training centres.
