Jaw Hire supplies Hitachi machines to Champion

Newly established rental company Jaw Hire, based in Cornwall, UK, has supplied nine new Hitachi excavators to Fred Champion Groundworks, a civil engineering company also based in Cornwall.

The delivery comprised four Zaxis 130LC-6 models, four Zaxis 210LC-6 models and one Zaxis 250LC-6

Jaw Hire recently partnered with Hitachi Construction Machinery UK to deliver Hitachi products into the South West of England.

Hitachi Construction Machinery UK’s National Director of Sales Mark Turnham said, “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Jaw, and with their local knowledge we are looking forward to increased sales of Hitachi equipment within the region.”

The new Hitachi hydraulic excavators purchased by Champion Groundworks are four Zaxis 130LC-6 models, four Zaxis 210LC-6 models and one Zaxis 250LC-6.

Champion Groundworks, along with its equipment rental and scaffolding divisions, generates an annual turnover of £70 million. The company employs more than 350 people.
