JLG appoints Riwal in Poland

Riwal has been appointed as the sole distributor for JLG Industries in Poland.

As the exclusive distributor Riwal will be responsible for sales, marketing, training and after sales service in the Polish market for the full range of JLG aerial work platforms and telehandlers. Riwal will serve customers such as rental companies as well as end users in construction, manufacturing and energy.

Karel Huijser, JLG’s vice president and managing director, Europe, Africa and Middle East commented, “JLG is excited to partner in a key growth market like Poland with an aerial work platform and telehandler specialist like Riwal, with whom we have a proven track record of success as our distributor in the Netherlands.”

Norty Turner, CEO of Riwal added, “Within the Riwal Group, we have extensive expertise with the JLG brand in our rental fleet and benefit from being the sole JLG distributor in the Netherlands since 1995. Our highly motivated team in Poland will be able to extensively develop the access equipment business in the Polish market, which has great potential as it is increasingly seeing new equipment purchases alongside traditional used equipment procurement.”
