Jukka Karjalainen, B.Sc. (Engineering), MBA is the new managing director of Finnish manufacturer Leguan Lifts Oy. The previous managing director Risto Käkelä will continue as the chairman of the board and managing director of Avant Tecno Oy.

Mr Karjalainen has extensive experience on heavy machine manufacturing and marketing, mainly with forest machine manufacturer Ponsse Oyj.

All Leguan access platforms are manufactured in Ylojarvi, Finland - in the same premises where Avant loaders are made. The companies believe that this creates synergy in manufacturing and allows Leguan to capitalise on the efficient Avant production system.
