German manufacturer Kaeser Kompressoren has added to its portable compressors product line with the launch of the M10E.

The unit, which joins the Kaeser MOBILAIR e-power range, offers a constant pressure of between 7 and 15 bar and can be powered by a standard 16A CEE socket, which the company said is more common than the heavy duty 32A.

At 7 bar an air delivery volume of 0.85m³ per minute is offered, while 0.75m³ (10 bar), 0.65m³ (13 bar) and 0.55m³ (15 bar) are also available.

Kaeser said it can be operated with many external battery storage systems. As the smallest unit in the MOBILAIR e-power range, its compact dimensions is said to make it easy to transport in any small delivery van which leaves the trailer coupling free for other transport purposes.

Typical applications for the M10E include fibre optic cable blowing, dry ice blasting (indoor and outdoor), sewer robot and pneumatic tools

Meanwhile, a Purpac F16 compressed air aftercooler and filter combination for the 1m³ class unit can be added, which means oil-free compressed air is technically produced.

Kaeser told IRN that the M10E will be available to order in the EU, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America soon.
