Kaeser's new polyethylene canopy is corrosian-resistant and more durable, says the company.

Perhaps most obvious of the innovations from Kaeser at Intermat is the polyethylene rotomoule canopy, available since November 2008 for the five models, M20 to M50, of its range of trailer-mounted compressors. Kaeser said the corrosion resistant cover is more durable than the sheet metal versions also available, and that owners can exchange metal for polyethylene covers.

Elsewhere on the stand was the new 19.7 m3/min, 8.6 bar Mobilair 200 model. The 146 kW compressor is also available in 10, 12, and 14 bar versions, which deliver 18, 16, and 14.5 m3/min or air, respectively. All have Kaeser's Sigma Control mobil system for pressure control to within 0.1 bar and to optimise fuel economy.

Also new since November 2008 is the 17 m3/min M170, which fills the gap between the 12 m3/min M122 and the 27 m3/min M270. Also entering the market then were the M135 and M200 models.

The German company has mounted its M57 model on a skid frame and given it an industrial-quality canopy, creating the M57 Utility. The5.2 m3/min, 7 Bar compressor is finding even more mobility, said Kaesar, mounted perpendicularly behind the cab of trucks to supply air for a variety of applications.
