Komatsu Europe has redesigned its used equipment website in collaboration with used equipment specialists Mascus and Ritchie Bros.

The updated site, used.komatsu.eu, includes new tools to help Komatsu and its European dealers to better manage, analyse and remarket their used equipment via an inventory management system, Komatsu IMS.

The system is accessible to all of Komatsu’s European dealers via desktop and a mobile App. It enables them to publish information about available used equipment on various sales channels, including their own dealer website as well as on used.komatsu.eu. Equipment can be searched and filtered by potential buyers, equipment type, manufacturer, hours/usage, location and price.

New data and multilingual marketing tools included in the updated package help users to better understand when and how to market their used equipment.

Giovanni Guidi, who is responsible for the project, said about the new tools and services, “They make us more efficient and will help to create an online community for our European used equipment dealers who can now easily make their used equipment stock fully visible to the market. Komatsu is in a stronger position to optimise sales and, with the Mascus team, we know we always have a great European support network standing by.”
