Japan:Komatsu achieved record sales of JPY 1702 billion (US$ 15.2 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 31, up +18.6% on the previous year. Its net profit was JPY 114 billion (US$ 103 million), a +93.4% improvement. Revenues from construction and mining equipment sales were up +21.7% to JPY 1291 billion (US$ 11.6 billion). The Americas provided the biggest growth in absolute revenues, while the biggest percentage increase in equipment sales was in China.
