Konecranes acquires Sanma

Lifting equipment manufacturer, Konecranes, has acquired Chinese hoist and crane manufacturer Jiangsu Three Horses Crane Manufacture (Sanma).

Following the acquisition of the remaining shares, Konecranes now owns 100 % of Sanma, a company spokesperson said. Since 2009, Konecranes owned 65 % of shares in Sanma.

Sanma is based in Jingjiang, near Shanghai. The company supplies wire rope hoists in China and supplies cranes to Jiangsu and neighbouring provinces.
