A Sennebogen 830 E-Series and a Sennebogen 683 telescopic crane with crawler track are used to help demolish the industrial complex

Dutch contractor Koole Environmental recently made use of two Sennebogen machines – a 683 telescopic crane and an 830 E Series material handler and – at a redundant EON power station in Rotterdam, where they demolished the cooling water pumping station structure and removed internal plant and fittings.

For the dismantling work the 683 was used with all of its 42 metre full-power boom. It has a safe working load of 80 tonnes and can pick and carry while under load. The 830 material handler was fitted with a 2.5 tonne shear, a special 14 m long boom kinematic and Maxcab, which can be elevated by 2.7 metres. The model was delivered to Kool by Dutch sales and service partner Kuiken.
