Landoll Corp. showed its brand-new Precision Telehandler, the PT40, at The Rental Show. The unit can lift a maximum capacity of 40,000 pounds up to 20 feet. Designed specifically to meet the needs of the users in the machinery moving and rigging industry, the PT40's compact size and capabilities also make it a choice for moving heavy loads in manufacturing and heavy industrial applications.

The unit has single joystic controlled hydraulic functions and auto-leveling fork tilt and adjustable fork speed. The maximum boom reach is 96 inches (2.5 m) and it features hydrostatic drive with 24 percent gradeability.

The Sauer hydrostatic drive is controlled by an adjustable foot treadle for variable 0-6 mph, forward or reverse travel. The hydrostatic pump and deep-reduction planetary wheel hubs generate 20,000 pounds of tractive effort.

The unit comes with a 7-inch color, LCD display system that features all gauges and load position infomration. For more information on the unit, see the April issue of Access, Lift & Handlers.
