Latin American crane and transport event

12 December 2011

In response to tremendous interest and investment throughout Latin America, KHL has announced a new event for the region.

Cranes and Transport Latin America (CTLA) is a one-day conference and networking reception to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 28 May 2012, one day before the start of the M&T Expo construction show.

Brazil, in particular, is now fulfilling the promise and potential that has been talked about for years. The Football World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 will require massive investment for leisure developments and infrastructure. Major projects include airports, power generation, oilfield and port development schemes. International business intelligence company Global Insight forecasts an infrastructure spend in excess of US$ 140 billion by 2020.

CTLA has the full support of the leading crane association in Brazil, Sindepesa. Confirmed sponsors at the time of writing included Terex and Liebherr.

The conference and networking reception will follow the successful events that KHL Group has held in other parts of the world.

Full details and the programme will be announced in due course. For more information see: www.khl.com/ctla
