LGMG Europe has strengthened its team with the appointment of Wim de Jong as operations director.

With more than 25 years of experience, de Jong has previously held general and country manager roles at ECW Logistics and Riwal.

As operations director, de Jong will work to create efficiencies across LGMGs growing business, as well as build and manage the team in Europe.

Kevin Liu, LGMG sales director of EMEAIR for LGMG Europe commented, “Wim will bring some fantastic experience to the role of operations director at LGMG, with his strong financial background, knowledge of logistics and access industries. We look forward to continued growth with his support.”

China-based LGMG Europe is bringing an ever-expanding product line of MEWPs to the European market through its Netherlands-based division.

de Jong commented, “I´m delighted to have joined LGMG, one of the largest aerial work platforms manufacturers in the world, and enthusiastic to build a team able to steer LGMG’s growth in the right direction.

“Due to my time in Kazakhstan, I have a strong bond with the Asian culture, and I am confident we will use this to build a firm bridge between the European office and the Chinese headquarters enabling us to have the best of both worlds. I would like to thank LGMG for this great opportunity.”
