Lin Gong Machinery Group (LGMG) exhibited at APEX for the first time, showing a range of its scissor lifts.

Ares Song, export department head of the company’s aerial work platform marketing division, told AI the company decided to exhibit because the industry urged it to do so.

“We want to be a part of the European market,” Song said. “We are very serious. We see the future for aerial work platforms [in Europe and] in China.”

The company, which experienced 30 percent growth over last year, had a further 30 percent growth the previous year, Song said. LGMG is currently selling in Northern Europe, particularly in Scandinavia. It offers 16 scissor lift models and booms.

LGMG produces a range of construction equipment and said access equipment offers great potential in the country and worldwide, so much so that it expects to be producing 10,000 units annually, mainly scissors, within the next five years.

The company already manufactures 1,000 units a year, with 200 of them sent abroad. They showcased its scissor lifts at APEX.
