Peak Waste Recycling has taken delivery of its first Liebherr waste handler - an 18 tonne A 316 Litronic wheeled unit that has been supplied in long reach industrial specification.

This is the first Liebherr to join Peak's fleet and it will carry out loading and unloading duties at the company's Ashbourne site in Derbyshire, UK, from where the company carries out waste collection, recycling and reclamation services for a wide range of waste, including construction and demolition waste.

The A 316 supplied to Peak features an elevating cab, a 3.5 m (11.5 ft) stick with tilt kinematics and a 5.5 m (18 ft) industrial straight boom to provide maximum lift height and long reach capability.
