Liebherr will display a range of machines from across its portfolio on its outdoor stand at Bauma China. These will include large excavators, including the 110 tonne R 9100 mining machines, wheeled loaders such as the 5 m3 bucket L 580 and 37 tonne A 934 C material handler.

The R 966 crawler excavator on display has an operating weight of around 67 tonnes and is equipped with a 4.5 m3 backhoe bucket. Designed for quarry and mining applications, its engine has a rated output of 320 kW and complies with stage IIIA / Tier 3. It also has a new range of undercarriages including a variant with variable track adjustment for simplified transport.

The R 944 C crawler excavator is on display at Bauma China is a super mass excavation version providing an operating weight of 43 tonnes. Key-components such as engine, hydraulic pumps and motors, slewing and travel gearboxes as well as electronic elements are developed and produced by Liebherr.

The Liebherr L 580 wheel loader on display at Bauma China is driven by a 209 kW diesel engine. Equipped with a 5 m3 high-dump bucket with bolt-on cutting edge, the machine achieves a tipping load of 18,000 kg at an operating weight of 24.7 tonnes. The combination of the hydrostatic travel drive and the special mounting position of the diesel engine enables movement of heavy loads. It offers low fuel consumption - Liebherr says up to 25 % less fuel than comparable models from other manufacturers.

Cranes on show will include the LTM 1300-6.3 six-axle mobile crane, which was unveiled to the world at the last Bauma exhibition in Munich in April 2013. This innovative machine uses a single engine, rather than the usual dual-engine design for large all terrain cranes, and offers a 78 m main boom and 300 tonnes of lifting capacity.
