Massachusetts-based Costello Dismantling’s John Hastings was honoured with the title from the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA) chapter in the state. He has served the association on the board of directors and executive committees, culminating in a term as chapter president.

Costello Dismantling president Dan Costello, who founded the company and has seen John’s career develop at close quarters since he joined in 2004, said: “John has served as our treasurer and chief financial officer for many years.

“He leads the financial side of our company with competence, integrity and vision. Few corporate decisions make their way through the company without a visit to John’s office.

“The hallmark of a successful trade association is a strong membership. Those members strive to exemplify professional standards of excellence through fellowship, continuing education and leading by example. John personifies all these fine qualities.”
