Lifterz orders 80 new machines for new depot

UK access rental specialist Lifterz Ltd, based in Yorkshire has placed orders for about 80 new platforms to provide additional fleet for its new depot opening in Haydock, Lancashire.

Orders have been placed with Skyjack, Snorkel, Holland Lift, Niftylift and Iteco

Director, Ben Bowers said, "[Lifterz] already have a good customer base in the region and the new depot will help greatly to service this business in a more economical and environmentally friendly way than we do at present. Our combined fleet will not be far off 600 units by the time all the orders are delivered."

Located on the Haydock Industrial Estate the new premises comprises offices workshops, an IPAF training area and yard space. Lifterz's North West operation will be headed by regional operations director, Lee Jolley.

Mr Jolley has had regional and national roles with Speedy Hire and prior to that held a key role with Blackpool based Smiths Equipment Group where he helped develop its access division.

Lifterz is a member of the Access LINK, a nationwide cooperative organisation giving customers access to a national fleet of 4700 units and a 25 depot network.
